In a specialized test, the modules were subjected to impacts from ice balls with a diameter of up to <strong>25 mm<\/strong>, launched at a speed of <strong>23 m\/s (83 km\/h).<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2\ufe0f\u20e3 Moisture and condensation resistance &#8211; SOLROOF passed a key durability test confirming resistance to prolonged exposure to high temperatures and humidity: 1000 hours at 85\u00b0C with 85% relative humidity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3\ufe0f\u20e3 <strong>Resistance to overheating &#8211; <\/strong>SOLROOF has passed the durability test for so-called hot spots, which are local overheating <strong>and self-ignition<\/strong> that can impact the lifespan and safety of the module.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4\ufe0f\u20e3 <strong>Resistance to extreme temperatures &#8211; <\/strong>SOLROOF panels successfully passed 200 test cycles in extreme temperature conditions from -40\u00b0C to 85\u00b0C, in accordance with the <strong>IEC 61215<\/strong> standard.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5\ufe0f\u20e3 <strong>Durability during freezing &#8211; <\/strong>The panels underwent a demanding test involving <strong>10 cycles of varying temperatures from -40\u00b0C to 85\u00b0C<\/strong> at high humidity (85%).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The testing of the panels was conducted by the renowned organization Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE \u2013 part of Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the largest independent European research institution. The organization specializes in advanced testing of modern technologies, with particular emphasis on the photovoltaic sector.
